It is an independent web laboratory for interfaces, behaviour, pointless machines and ideas that would be too strange for a normal website. There is deliberately no conventional menu. You are meant to poke at it, get lost, trigger things and gradually understand the system.
THE BASIC IDEA
The session ID, observer classification, stability value and system messages are theatre generated locally in your browser. They create the feeling of entering a live laboratory. Nothing here profiles you, no experiment sends your input anywhere, and the memory experiment intentionally stores nothing.
THE RULE
Hover, click, type, move, hesitate. Some elements only make sense after you interact with them. Three entered chambers are required before Node 013 establishes a route.
ACTIVE CHAMBERS
Buttons deliberately refuse to behave like normal interface controls. Labels, positions and responses shift. The point is uncertainty: the interface never fully confirms whether you did the right thing.
On desktop, proximity to hidden route nodes reveals direction. You navigate by moving through the field instead of reading a menu. Clicking a node traverses a route whose destination remains withheld.
Submit a completely ordinary question. The department invents a case number, unnecessary jurisdiction and bureaucratic ruling for something that never needed administration.
Write something and attempt retention. It is held briefly, then erased. No cookie, local storage entry or database record is created. Forgetting is the feature.
The error page is treated as an actual room. You can wander into changing nonexistent locations. On desktop the questionable EXIT control may actively avoid your cursor.
SECONDARY SYSTEMS
There is one instability state with two controls. In LINEAR geometry it appears as CALIBRATION CONTROL / DO NOT PRESS; in RADIAL geometry the dedicated INSTABILITY / PRESS control lives at the lower right. Either control degrades the same system: stability behaviour, language, alignment, orbital geometry and drift become less trustworthy. Switching it back from either geometry restores the shared state.
The >_ CONSOLE button opens a command interface. The backtick key does the same on a keyboard. Try HELP, STATUS, INDEX, SIGNAL, UNSTABLE, 001–005 and 013.
The GEOMETRY switch folds the document out of linear page space into a fixed orbital system. There is no vertical scroll. Drag or swipe rotates the field; mouse wheel or pinch changes scale; arrow keys rotate and zoom from a keyboard. The five active experiments occupy the primary orbit while 006–012 remain weak archive signals farther out.
In radial geometry, ACCESS I/O suppresses the known system and isolates Node 013's rear trajectory. Before three chambers are entered, 013 lives outside the known orbits and only flashes into view intermittently. After the third chamber, its trajectory deforms and periodically crosses the primary system.
Enter any three different active experiment chambers. The dormant node changes state and becomes accessible.
This is the meta-room: the reward for curiosity. It explicitly acknowledges that you found something the normal interface refused to link directly.
Between 22:00 and 05:00 local browser time, one of the laboratory statements changes. Nothing dramatic happens. That is partly the joke.

That is the whole concept.
The point is to use the web as material rather than merely as a container for information: behaviour, timing, uncertainty, errors and interaction are part of the content. Future experiments can keep extending the laboratory without changing that premise.
